“My preparations started when we was crowned Miss South Africa 2017. Just as with a Miss South Africa platform, we know a shortcoming of being Miss Universe and a impact it has on millions of lives. we am intensely vehement and unapproachable to paint a Rainbow Nation and can't wait to wear a name ‘South Africa’ proudly opposite my chest. It has been 39 years given a South African wore a Miss Universe climax and we guarantee to dedicate and dedicate myself to ensuring a climax will once again be on South African soil.”

Demi-Leigh will be assisted with preparations for a foe by dual experts, manifestation manager and conform stylist, Werner Wessels and Miss South Africa stylist Noreen Kajee-Vareta.

“I do a training programme identical to a one contestants from countries such as a Philippines, Venezuela and a US follow. I’ve been really advantageous to support and manager Rolene Strauss in 2014, as good as Miss America for a Miss World manifestation in 2015. we request my indication of training as they do in those countries and if we are critical about winning an general title, we don’t enter a manifestation but a manifestation coach,” Werner said.

Noreen added, “We started preparations for Miss Universe as shortly as Demi-Leigh was crowned Miss South Africa and demeanour brazen to divulgence her outfits for a manifestation closer to a time. She’s entirely prepared and prepared to move a climax home to South Africa!”
