Pia Wurtzbach: There’s some-more to me than being Miss Universe
January 22, 2018 - miss universe
Pia Wurtzbach is a self-confessed “chocoholic.” Unbelievable though true. As a code envoy of Filipinos’ fave homegrown chocolate brand, Goya, a Miss Universe says that even beauty queens merit “cheat days” after a prolonged and chaotic day.
Here’s my discuss with Pia:
If we were chocolate, what kind would we be? Dark. Because we consider it’s bitter, though it also tastes sweet. I’m a gold of surprises. And dim is a richest and healthiest variant. It’s so me. Rich in a clarity that we am all-in given we don’t do things half-heartedly.
What’s your fortitude for 2018? we will make improved decisions and get some-more work done.
Do we feel pressured that we have to answer in beauty-queen conform each time we are interviewed? we feel that, sometimes, though we don’t let it get to me. There’s some-more to me than being Miss Universe. Funny trivia we wish to share is this: When we was training for a pageant, we wore heels even while doing domicile chores, so we would get a feel of it.
What’s your subsequent project? Doing a film with Gerald Anderson, with my beloved Marlon Stockinger’s capitulation (laughs).
(Winners of Goya’s “Get a Taste of World-Class Promo” will go on six-day, all-expense paid trips to Paris, San Francisco, New York and London. Check out GoyaChocoholics on Facebook.)
My BFF Cesar Montano is ascent his 3rd Buboy Golf Cup on Feb. 16 (6:30 a.m. and 12 noon) during Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga. It’s for a advantage of Marawi victims and a Philippine Foundation for Breast Cancer (call 0927-8794541). Buboy is a golf enthusiast. His awards in golf roughly compare his countless behaving awards.
One of my fave Christmas gifts was from Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, who sent me a sampler of their super tantalizing bottled delights: prohibited and sharp tuyo and smoked bangus (visit GreenRoom’s Facebook page for details). The Alcasids got a ideal recipe in and out of a kitchen, on and offstage.
