Oscars 2017: Miss Universe Offers Advice After Best Picture Flub

After a history-making mix-up during a Academy Awards, when La La Land was mistakenly named a Best Picture winner over Moonlight, there were evident comparisons to a Miss Universe shocker from 2015 — and a classification offering their help.
“Have your people call a people — we know what to do. #Oscars #MissUniverse,” a Miss Universe classification tweeted.
Presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway looked confused as they non-stop a label to announce a Best Picture winner, before observant La La Land had taken a tip prize. Cast and organisation distinguished onstage and started giving speeches, until a uncover writer ran out and word widespread that Moonlight had in fact won.

Academy Award horde Jimmy Kimmel said, “Guys, this is really hapless what happened. Personally, I censure Steve Harvey for this. we would like to see we get an Oscar anyway, since can’t we only give out a whole garland of them?”
Moonlight executive Barry Jenkins afterwards thanked a Academy, and sloping his shawl to La La Land.
“Very clearly, really clearly in my dreams this could not be loyal though ruin with my dreams, I’m finished with it since this is true,” pronounced Jenkins. “Oh my goodness. And we have to contend it is true. It’s not fake. We’ve been on a highway with these guys for so prolonged — my adore to La La Land. My adore to everybody. Man.”
