Multicultural ‘Maria’ Crowned Miss Universe Thailand

BANGKOK — Maria Poonlertlarp Ehren was crowned Miss Universe Thailand on Saturday night during a Siam Paragon selling mall.
Ehren, 25 of Thai-Swedish descent, graduated from Stockholm Business School and entered a manifestation as a favorite for her existent celebrity as a model, theatre participation and English-language skills.
“Equality of group and women in Thailand isn’t equal yet,” Ehren pronounced when asked what was formidable about being a woman. “But to pierce forward, both group and women have to reason hands and pierce brazen together, since it’s not only an emanate about women.”
Ehren will go on to contest on a universe theatre on Nov. 26 during a Miss Universe manifestation in Las Vegas.
“This theatre will assistance me to attain and build foundations to assistance Thailand,” Ehren pronounced when asked because she was competing, adding that she’d many like to tackle issues of teenage pregnancy and sea pollution.
The initial runner-up was Supaporn Ritthipruek. Paweensuda Drouin, Suraphrin Atkhonghan and Ratchanok Naowaset were all comparison as second runner-up from a 40 finalists who went into Saturday’s pageant.
