25-year-old Mareeya Poonlertlarp, a half-Thai, half-Swedish model, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2017 during Siam Paragon Hall on Saturday night.
183cm tall, a postgraduate in selling from a Stockholm Business School is pronounced to be smooth in 4 languages – Thai, Swedish, English and Mandarin. She won 1 million baht, a solid tiara and a car, as good as a trophy. She is now set to paint Thailand during a general Miss Universe 2017 manifestation in Las Vegas this entrance November.
First runner-up Supaporn Litiphruek perceived half a million baht, and corner second runners-up Suraphuen Artkongharn, Ratchanok Nawaset and Paweensuda Du-uen any pocketed 150,000 baht.
Chalita Suansane, Miss Universe Thailand 2016, was also on stage. Chalita finished in a tip 6 in a tellurian Miss Universe foe – Thailand’s biggest success given Porntip Nakhirankanok won a Miss Universe pretension behind in 1988.
